MARKUS SCHOPP POST-BLACKPOOL Interviews Speaking after our 1-0 defeat at Blackpool on Saturday afternoon, Markus Schopp says he wants his side to be more ruthless at both ends of the pitch. Continue reading on the official site...
In the first half there was no difference between the teams. Did schopp go to the wrong ground by accident?
If he and the players cannot get motivated for a following like that then they are at the wrong club.
Nearly all players available then. Next up Cooper's Notts Forest. If they look poor again the guy has to go. Heads will be dropping soon.
The blackpool fans comments saying "worst fans in Championship" "so quiet" etc.... we were in decent voice at 1st but schopps crazy team selection and tactics silenced 3k reds fans.
Yes true biggest attendance of the season so far for them, celebrated asif they had won a cup and sang something about "interbreed Yorkshire scum" most of the 2nd half which was ironic as most of the locals in the town looked like extras in the goonies, town full of scruffs
Had Blackpool commentary on and he said he could hardly hear himself think with all the noise coming from the away fans first 25 mins . Never heard the Blackpool fans till ten mins from end then they came out the woodwork .
Would have to disagree with that Marlon. Quiet till they scored. Then tbf. Lifted the roof after that. As someone else pointed out. Very vociferous as in a local derby. The place was rocking at times.
We were loud at 1st but then blackpool had a few chances Collins made some good saves could see the inevitable happening and then 1 nil we went quiet and they lifted the roof for abit. The team never gave us much hope of a equaliser and the only time the away end was loud 2nd half was the chants of "were ******* ****" and "couldnt score in a brothel"
It was. And I have to take my hat off to their fans. Made a good amount of racket from the goal onwards. Their support from that point was very vocal. Ours started like that, and we likely ended up the quietest ever 3k fans ever seen tbh
That’s what happens when there’s nothing to get behind on the pitch. Blackpool having a good start to the season defined by last too results and fans getting behind them. We lost another one of our supposed better chances of winning with a whimper. Guess it creates a better atmosphere when a small crowd is filling most of your home ends. First time I’ve ever thought we might be better with a slightly smaller ground than what we have.
