The stat I picked out was probably the least important part of what I wrote. If that’s all that can be picked out, whilst many appear to be dismissing the match day squad, then it’s just an example of everyone leaning towards whatever their perspective is.
You talk like a politician mate constantly trying to prove your point and talking like you speak for everyone. I fully appreciate that we have players unavailable but we still have a lot of very good players in the team and should be striving for wins in my opinion. Football is a tactics and confidence game so I'm not a fan of letting this month slip bye because everything will be ok next month because who knows?
You literally challenged me on my point. Next time I’ll just roll over, have my tummy tickled, and bow. Does that work better? Don’t get the politician comment at all. I was basically saying we’ve all got our own opinions and as a result we tend to view stats/info in a way that supports that opinion. How is that speaking on behalf of everyone? Classy reply - thanks for that one.
Just so you know, nobody has ever disagreed with a single thing you've written. Of course we should be striving for wins. Of course football is a tactics and confidence game. Of course we still have very good players. All some people are saying is don't **** the bed because we've drawn 5 from our first 8. That's all. Nobody is saying we've had a brilliant start and we should be happy were we were. All people are saying is that its early days. Surely you can understand the difference?
I've supported Barnsley for far too long to ever **** the bed over results (if that was aimed at me) but I do like to comment on what I watch and 1 win from 9 is going to start discussions. I personally think we've got good enough players to still win games and should be attacking games as such, hopefully today is the start of that and people can put their crystal balls away
Loko did take a King Canute stance after the 3-0 drubbing at Bournemouth, when calling a bad performance a bad performance would have been the way to go. Still each to their own This Val/Schlopp divide is just yet another split to contend with in our lives. Grrrate innit.
