    Benson is a dead ball specialist apparently. His delivery so far has been very poor though. Let’s hope it improves soon cos we need all the help we can get for goals.

    We should have scored from two set pieces against Blackburn. Great balls in from Woodrow, met by Helik and Frieser, but not taken.

    No issue with Woodrow’s delivery considering he offers virtually no threat being in the box for the corners or free kicks.

    I like him, l was commenting regarding the them losing at the time and the fans booing the team for the last few games. He's walking on egg shells there.

    Our most agricultural bosses have had the best managerial careers. Robins and Val know how to come into a club lift the vibe and get results.

    Danny Wilson pressed high and used Watson as a sweeper keeper too.

    In all my years watching Barnsley our best teams have all played on the front foot.

    Top of the league and cheered off at fulltime but I do know what you mean, even some of our fans moaned when we dared not to win. I hate how quickly we have lost his drive and winning mentality.

    I agree. Nevermind that we didn't beat Blackburn they're sixth ffs. Can't do with apologists masking failure.

    Nobody has been an apologist masking failure.

    All people have said is that it wasn’t a poor performance considering we’ve got a match day squad missing eight first team players or including players that aren’t fully fit. And that Blackburn have shown to be a half decent side at this level now - we were the first team they haven’t scored against. It really is as simple as that with no other agenda.

    There's 4 or 5 very good teams that we can't compete with but the rest are a much of a muchness that we certainly can compete with and we need to start believing and expecting better or it won't happen.
