Gutting to see them sinking like this. I thought they were back up there for a few years. Famed on flare they haven't got any edge of your seat players anymore. I grew up watching them as a release from Barnsley. A great footballing side of tradition that served it up to the other "big clubs". I think it stems from my dislike of Man Utd and Man City. If ever there was a team to serve it up it was Spurs regardless of league position. "The Tottenham way" has gone.
I agree and Spurs have been beaten by a better team but not so long ago Spurs had an open swagger n' kept on playing until the end. "You score 3 we'll score 4". They haven't got that anymore. I'd gladly see them losing if they were open and attacking. Going back to Barnsley. I want to see us open up and play. Great point yesterday but if we had succombed to a late loser. I'd have been gutted we'd lost but disappointed it wasn't 3-4 or 2-3. Fans want entertaining. I've re-evaluated after Stoke and Blackburn. Barnsley can play. ( Oduor and Hondermarck are real talents. Actual footballers are priceless).
I turned it off at half-time,the Spurs Chelsea game ,think we will go down sadly the, hope I am wrong, but the flair players are missing to drag wins out
Wouldn't write them off with Son and Kane though. still.Think it was ridiculous to sack Mourhinio before the cup final!
They have quality but behind city land united and Chelsea. That's it. That a side I think if isis had 11 football players I would cheer them on against man united. I hate them more than I love my own family
Class manager they looked very average under lampard, and psg didn't want tuchel, weird how things work out sometimes
It shows how much they've fallen when they are O/T on a football forum. They need to get Glenn and Chris back out of retirement.
A lad at our school was a Spurs fan, and still is to this day! I went along to Bramall Lane with him when Spurs were in the Second Division for a solitary season. The away end was absolutely packed! There must have been at least 8,000 Tottenham fans in there, and they made a right racket!
That first half of Spurs v Chelsea was one of the most boring halves of football I've ever seen. Two teams who cared more about not conceding than they did scoring. Chelsea brought it to life in the second half, but I could happily go my entire life without seeing a half of football like that first half ever again. It was walking football, no pace, sideways and backwards.
