Deffo half full , team not gelled because of injuries suspension etc , Bring critical on a game by game basis but the overall picture looks ok IMO .
Generally half full, but would like to see us a bit more organised defensively. That will hopefully improve if we can play the same players there for a run.
Half full. Outside of the first half against QPR it's not been pretty. We've yet to put in a 90 minute performance. Guys from last season aren't playing to the same level. New players haven't been fit or haven't yet jelled. Question marks around the coach remain. All that said I don't expect us to be in a relegation battle and if it's looking that way by Christmas I would like to see Schopp gone. Coaches have no loyalty to us when they do well and by the same measure we shouldn't hang on to someone if they are out of their depth just because they haven't been around long. Last season like it or not has changed the views of the club now so being in the bottom third of the league is no longer acceptable. Conway didn't speak about a promotion push for a laugh. That's the target from now on.
I'll be the odd one out then! I just can't get that Bournemouth performance out of my head. I wasn't expecting us to be anywhere near our best, but an absolute capitulation on that scale worried me. I'm honestly wavering between the two at the moment.
If there was.a third option glass mostly. Half full but spilt a bit that would be me. Injuries and players being unavailable has made it a stuttering start and it’s very early days but we do seem to lack cohesion and fight.
I'm half empty the football I've seen so far and the fight at times hasn't filled me with much confidence, I don't know schopps style yet, we create very little and the opposition seem to create boat loads. That said we do have injurys so see how it pans out need to start picking up some points in the next 4 games no excuses.
I remain extremely concerned by what I’ve seen so far this season. I think we have been a little bit fortunate to pick up the number of points that we have. I am slightly unsure as to what the plan is. I appreciate we have some good players to come back but vast improvement is required before Christmas. If not I think we will become embroiled in a relegation battle That said there has been some excellent individual performances so far this season
We need to get the shots per game stat from 8 to 20. Less passes around the opposition box because when we lose it we're being broke on. You don't get broken on from row Z.
Half empty I’m afraid. Bournemouth was as comprehensive a defeat as I’ve seen in a long time and I do worry where exactly our goals are going to come from. Been wrong before though
Did Bournemouth smash us by 6/7, Jesus if that was a **** defeat what do you think of the absolute smashings we've had over the years?
I said at the time that it was as bad a performance from a Barnsley side at this level as I've seen, and I stand by that. The actual result is irrelevant.
