Looking at our squad now I see the ideal amount of youth and experience. Some of the squad have played over 200 games, quite a few have played over 100 games and they've been supplimented with exciting younger talent with good pedigrees. 2 players or more for every position. We now rely on Marcus to mould them into a team with strength and style for a tough Championship season.Exciting times in my view.
At the moment there are reasons to be optimistic. I was particularly hopeful after the QPR game for instance. However, its important to keep grounded. Proof of the pudding etc...
Can you stop being glass half full please, this board is for posts about how **** our owners are and how inept our tactics are
The squad looks quite good IMHO we have some really good players at this level collins, helik, mads, Britain, styles, woodrow, Morris, palmer etc are all more than capable of performing week in week out and would get in alot of other championship sides. But its a results game so over to you marcus you have a decent hand lets hope you use it wisely and get us up that table.
Assuming that the new lads settle in ok it's quite possible that we could have as good as or better squad than last season's playoff team plus the added benefit of the experience and belief gained from last season I don't see why we can't do well again. Let's hope Schopp can mould them together.
Would be a fantastic achievement, considering our budget is bottom six. But it was last season too, and we finished 5th. So, let's see.
Sorry I'll try and condense my views next time. I'm such in awe of your journalistic skills. In many years to come I'm sure your tomb stone will be inscribed with "why use 21 words when 2,s enough". All said in jest Roy.
