Well in that case… come on England! What time does it generally go on until each day? (I really do know absolutely nothing about it!) Just wondering whether we need to do the car on the drive/street dance for when I get back from the match on Saturday. The drive is really narrow so I don’t tend to use it but might need to take Will’s car off and park it in front of the house so I can use the drive if cars will still be there by 5:50pm or so.
Me neither. Any sport that involves something called "googlies" sounds more than a bit iffy. And why is it always called a "test match"? Aren't they ready for the real thing yet?
Play starts each day at 11, but most spectators will arrive well before that. The exact end time depends on how quickly the bowling side gets through their work, but it's usually about 6:30 or so. I would guess it would then take an hour to empty. My advice would be to go to the Curry Mahal directly after the match for a free curry, then, by the time you get home, the traffic should have cleared.......
Currently isolating prior to an eye op so at a loose and watching the cricket which is not something I normally do. What's the booing about?
Thanks! I wouldn’t eat a curry if someone paid me though so that’s not a plan. There were quite a few empty spaces on the street at about half 5 when I went to Morrisons so might just risk it. I’m guessing no one really arrives after it starts so anyone who moves their car later creates a gap.
Ha ha, you could have an omelette instead! I'd risk it with parking, but you know the area better than me. A lot of fans enjoy a beer at the cricket so many of them would come by public transport anyway.
