    I was looking at the Sheffield Utd forum as I do all the local teams & to my surprise I saw a a thread started by an old stalwart of the BBS , Conan Troutman no less who started a thread discussing the restricted tickets sales for Utd fans for their visit to Oakwell in October , whilst I did not always agree with his views I must confess that him & one or two now absent posters of the past always brought thought provoking football threads to the BBS & in my opinion are missed .

    To the best of my knowledge he was never banned. He was a divisive character in here and I think he just got in one spat too many and flounced out.

    Got to love the BBS. Outrage at not banning certain posters instantly and then months later saying they're missed.

    Absence makes the heart grow fonder as they say.

    He would say things as though they were a matter of fact, and refuse to budge on his opinion, regardless of how outlandish it was.

    One of the final duels we had (before I had a hiatus from the forum), was regarding Oli McBurnie and Darren Bent. He was convinced that Darren Bent would score more for Burton, than Oli McBurnie would for Barnsley.

    I think he was banned for the for the same reason as Hemsworth was...Being a total bell end.
