They weren't actually required to sit on their arses for 2 weeks and not move. Surely they could have had some workout instructions whilst isolating.

It's becoming very strange

 

Lukaku only had to isolate for 5 days.

 

Some of the derogatory crapolla on here at times is totally f**king staggering. These lads are representing your tarn people, not the Wednesday massive ffs.

If the new lads aren't ready they're not ready, that's it!

Do you not remember Cauley ‘two weeks’ Woodrow who wasn’t fit for bloody ages after signing?

Or Richard Kell who we signed with a broken leg?

The season is ten days old. I’m not massively impressed about it but I’m not overly concerned just yet.

 

Yeah, but my thoughts are, if it's fitness they are struggling with, bring them (or one of them) on for last 10 minutes or so.

What better way to get fitter than being on pitch.

But to just get nowhere near the squad is somewhat weird.

Nobody had mentioned anything about them being injured, so.....

 

Maybe they’re fit and just not selected as the gaffer doesn’t like the look of them?

I’d hope not given big Vic and Miller are on the bench - but you never know!

Maybe they genuinely came in a million miles off fitness wise - remember how fit all of the existing squad were under Ismael, with his crazy press. It’s a lot to get to.

 

I certainly hope its the latter rather than the former if that's the case

 

Sad news is Morris is hobbling about and looks worse than he did at end of Saturday.

I honestly don’t mate. There’s a lot to be said about Woodrow regarding best position, coming deep and all that, system doesn’t suit him etc etc. All been discussed on here before. He’s not our 15-20 goals a season man and I actually rate Morris ahead of him. Losing him is a massive blow for me.

 

This is what was in the chronicle Friday about the Belgians

"Obbi Oulare could be included in Barnsley’s squad to face Coventry City on Saturday depending on how he comes through training on Friday, says Markus Schopp.

Oulare and Aaron Leya Iseka both signed for the Reds in late July.

The Belgian strikers have been getting up to full fitness and adapting to Schopp’s style of play.

They did not play in any pre-season games or either of the first two matches of the season.

Schopp told the Chronicle: “For Obbi, it will be decided on Friday.

“We will decide after our session if he can be involved on Saturday.

“For Aaron, it is too early.”"

 

Especially when we are playing a LWB at the top of the pitch after losing one of our main 3 strikers.

Have they even been announced to the crowd at Oakwell on the pitch most players do even it injured/not fit.

 

Unless we've gone 3-5-2 with Odour at left wing-back and 3 in centre-mid.. we did get over run in the middle on Saturday..

 

I like Oduor, but he was peetty poor on Satdi, must be a reight baller in training.

 

Good move putting Styles to LWB and Benson in CM. Think Styles has struggled a little in CM so far this season. At least he is back in a familiar position where he played under Val.
Strange one that Odour is now an ever present. I wonder if Cole isn't impressing in training.

Have to say that the bench looks weak!
