Sadly, I can't seem them going down that avenue, even if he's still a million miles better than any of our top 3 and a much better captain. I was at the Oval for his final test and I don't think I've witnessed a crowd will a player onto something so much. Great player, good captain and a gent too.
It looked out to me, hit him in line and Hameed was so far back. A bit closer than I expected in the end.
I thought it was going over the top but didn't realise how far he was back. One thing I've realised over the last couple of years though is if Michael Gough says you're out, you're out.
Yep, was a very good decision in the end. I just though the shape of the delivery looked like it was swinging down leg. Though he is a little unfortunate in the fact that umpire's call has been in the batters' favour quite a bit this test until that one.
I thought it looked high and gough would go with the batsman which on review would have been umpires call and saved him. Always taught umpire has the best view and if he didn't get so many right he wouldn't be there.
2 things. ill assume you have a very short memory and You’ll be apoplectic if we don’t bat out this last session then
I don't understand how a top 6 batsmen can get into that position to play the ball. Oh well... we have Buttler next. No need to panic!!! *ahem*
The fat lady is just clearing her throat. What a shambles this England team is. It's hard to imagine a worse last day's work ever to be fair!
