I know it’s the greed league and we’re Barnsley fans, but if you have to pick one who do you want to win it? City and Chelsea are the main villains for me with their recent toxic financial influence. I like Pinnock, but still can’t bring myself to wish well on a London team, so as much as I enjoyed Brentford beating Arsenal I can’t even go with them, or Spurs, or West Ham, or Palace. Extra dislike for Arsenal because of 1919. Not Man Utd because of the Surrey prawn sandwich brigade. Not Leeds because… Leeds. Sod it I’ll go for Everton or Newcastle. Not because they have the slightest chance of winning, but because they’re two proper clubs from the north.
I don't have anything in particular against them, but I'd rather see Everton do well. Feels like the real people's club in Liverpool
Been realistic it can only be one of Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea or Liverpool. I’ll probably go City just to see Stones rack up another league title. I think Liverpool have the best first 11 but the other 3 have far better squads.
Not bothered. But the only other club I took to. (Obviously tarn first) as a nipper (60s) was Man Utd. Due to such brilliant players who were lots of peoples idols. Best. Charlton. Law. Stiles etc. So probably stuck a little bit.
Not really bothered. Realistically it’s one from Manchester City Manchester United Chelsea and Liverpool so if I had to pick one I’d go with Liverpool. Otherwise one of the underdogs would be great Norwich for example. Or as said above Burnley. But I don’t really care very much
Honestly, I can't even be bothered enough to think about it, unless say Brentford or Burnley just to get on the 'extra' big clubs t1ts
I'd accept even Leeds - Jimmy Savile-worshipping, champions of Europe Leeds - winning the league if it deprived the ESL sextet of doing so. Any time those six fail, is good for football, so come on the other 14!
