Miserable b…..s! What a pleasure it had been certainly for elderly supporters no longer able to attend, and others with ill health problems, to pay their £10 and watch the game. Do the powers that be really think out of choice genuine supporters would prefer to sit at home watching on the tv rather than attending games?
You're making the mistake that footballing authorities care about fans. If they did then the remote accessibility we have seen the past year would carry on, even if its chargeable.
been saying the same but nobody seems to care. You are a valued fan only as long as you can get there seems to be the attitude in general.
Ask one of the tekky guys on here. You can still watch it from overseas. Not that I’d condone it of course. I fully agree with your POV. The club did too. But we are just one of 72.
Appreciate your response. Personally had been going to Oakwell for some 70 years up to last season . Also refereed/lined on there a dozen or so times, so it would have been nice to continue my affinity with the club through iFollow.
Not a club decision buddy. We would have loved it to remain an option. But as I say, hopefully someone technical can help you out.
1) Download a free VPN 2) Set to a non-UK country 3) Pay for iFollow 4) Watch iFollow Better the club getting some money than no money.
Have you tried this yourself this season mate? I tried with my dad last week, and it wouldn't work. Tried in 3/4 different countries too.
Have the club actually approached the EFL about it or brought it up at league meetings or anything though?
Failing that, try a paid one. NordVPN isn't expensive compared to the cost of the matches themselves and it works perfectly for me.
Yeah, we do (well, the dad does) pay for it. About $9 a month, works out as cheaper if bought for year. Do you have to make a new account on ifollow where you put country of residence elsewhere or are you able to use your normal account? Cheers
Normal account. It just shows the price in whatever country it thinks you are in. It doesn't even worry about the fact that you are allegedly over the pond but are paying with a UK debit card.
The option of payment doesn't even come up for us other than audio. Will try again at half time. Thanks for the replies
