Scoring after 3 minutes would have changed the whole complexion of the game (not saying we’d have won) but I cannot understand how it was disallowed. The guy playing him on even waves at the linesman. I am massively biased but I am not convinced that these things even out over a season for us.
It's easy to think there is a conspiracy against us when you see stuff as obvious as that But there isn't.
Just two games in to the new season and we are already on a hat trick of wrongly disallowed goals. If bad decisions even themselves out over the course of the season we are already in for some bad decisions in our favour.
Not sure about the hat trick - I think for the Frieser one at Cardiff he was just off but it was close. This one isnt even close he is at least 1 yard onside
People don't like these mistakes. People often also don't seem to like VAR very much, not that it would implemented on lower levels anyway. Shall we just get rid of offside altogether already?
Just use VAR to clear up bad mistakes like the one last night, and don't use it to spend ten minutes agonising over close calls like on Saturday.
Val would love it. Punts up every 3 secs to strikers literally stood next to the keeper. Be like pinball.
