    Dreadful way for Root to get out. Wide loose delivery, nibbled at.

    Pity as he's been the one player to show class and application so far.

    Need to get this lead to 250 and hope we have constant cloud cover there after and a favourable ball that hoops.

    Curran can bat. If he can get 60 or so and the others chip in a few runs each, that gets you 250. Broad has got 50's... though he's also got a fair few ducks since he got clocked a few years back.

    Brilliant ball to get Root out. Shame, but hopefully the tail can wag a little. Anything over 200 will be a seriously difficult chase in these conditions.

    Going from memory, 250 would be the second highest successful test chase at Trent Bridge, so we're not out of it even if we don't get many more

    Bairstow and Curran were both going well until they got out to limited overs shots. His unorthodox bowling action wouldn't be taught at Cricket school but Bumrah is class.
