Excellent, so we now more or less have a reserve side playing in the Danish second tier.

Forgive my lack of research. I take it our owners own them. It's hard to keep track when they've bought more clubs than Seve Ballesteros!

Bit of a weird one this. Esbjerg are playing at a really low standard. Get the ownership connection, but the lads would be better off playing a better standard of football elsewhere. Schmidt and Pache especially should be playing above the Danish second tier.

I like the idea of our lads getting competitive football and it gives em the opportunity to get to know each other’s game better. For when they come back.

Interesting we have kept Schmidt on the books when we're quite happy to move Simoes and Ritzmaier on.

Perhaps we've had no permanent offers for Schmidt

Possibly, but it appears that we can generate permanent offers from our sister clubs when necessary.

Based on what, the fact we've sold one player to Nancy?

I think it's good for our young lads. They get to experience a different country, culture, language and style. They will get more out of being there than being farmed off to a non league or league two side over here. I wouldn't be shocked to see all their loans extended until the end of the season. If Schmidt keeps banging them in we might bring him back for the new year though.
