Crystal Palace always looks good. Best name for a professional club too. No mention of where they are from and no generic City, Town or United in there.
But Crystal Palace is an area of London not far from them. Port Vale take it for me when it comes to non-geographical names. Shout out also to Wolves, whose actual name does have the name of their city but nobody ever uses it because that would be weird.
I hate to say it, but just on the graphics I think the Leeds shirt looks nice with the yellow trim. .
Crystal Palace area used to be called Penge and was renamed Crystal Palace after the exhibition was moved there, club was formed by workers there. Arsenal with Port Vale also not named after a place
I count 6 away games we’d need a second strip for, and either of our alternative kits would do (scratch that, the white & red* actually makes no sense as an alternative non-clash); so why will we actually need 3 kits, and even end up wearing some kit variations? You can tell it’s taking me a while to get my head round this concept. * I appreciate it’s a popular fan choice to have a second kit that’s a reverse of the home kit, but where there’s loads of teams in stripes, having white with red trim is exactly the same as red w white trim.
