    First game of the season at 1 pm. They have Schmidt in their 'combat squad' but not our young loanees. I assume they have had to isolate on arrival there?

    Thanks for that. Looking forward to how they get on over there. Far better for them than being over here at some non league club like we usually send our young lads. Schmidt should bang plenty in at that level.

    Not sure if it’s been mentioned elsewhere but Mamadou Thiam scored yesterday for Daniel Stendel’s Nancy. They lost 2-1 to a 90th min goal despite going down to 10 men just before half time

    I think it’s a mis-translation about Winfield as it looks like he was later substituted. They won 5-1.
