I can drive a ball as far as most female pro golfers, so there is a big advantage matey. Drive distance is a huge advantage.

 

She wasn't allowed to compete with the sex she was born as.

 

Right, fair enough! As I said I'm no expert. Although I'd guess that the strength factor is still far less decisive than in weightlifting?!

 

So why did the women get banned for having high testosterone from running the 400m? But allowed to run the 200m….

 

The golf course is significantly shorter for women than it is for the men.

Although I’ve seen some of the younger women play at the course I’m a member at and they wipe the floor with me.

I could be wrong though, but recently hasn’t there been a man (born a woman) competing against the men in boxing?

 

In my case the further I strike it, the more it disappears into the undergrowth.

No advantage at all.

 

I'm not a great golfer but when you are a pro, the stronger you are the more advantage you will have. A pro male can drive over 350 yards, that's 100 more than a female pro on average can drive. That equates to a lot less strokes if you're already decent with the rest of your game (which a pro male transitioning to female would be).

Obviously if I transitioned I wouldn't make the female tour. That's not what I'm implying.

I was having a conversation with Merde Tete who said he didn't know much about the game and queried how much strength gave an advantage. No need to be a dick about it. Not everyone on here is a golfer.

Perhaps on an incline, with a stony one track road that has grass in the middle.

Yes. Although "guard" is over-egging it. I maintain a watchful eye on things, but let's be honest, nobody's going to steal a cattle grid, so it's not exactly what you might call a high pressure environment - especially when it's damp.

 

You haven't spotted one of my golf balls settling within your eyeline have you? They tend to have a trajectory of their own once they disobey my command.

I appreciate that if it's gone into the cattle grid then your natural characteristics won't lend towards retrieval.

I was reading an article about those two young girls who got banned from certain distances but not others for having high levels of naturally occurring testosterone. Really confusing, and extremely unpleasant for the two young ladies involved.
