    Has anyone ever scored 40 goals in a season?

    This will surely force Chelsea or Man Utd to go and sign Haaland now for £175 million. Otherwise the season is over before a ball has been kicked. Puts Citeh light years ahead.

    I think his legs have gone and plays with his back to goal too much. I also think Tottenham will be stronger without him and had he stayed injured they'd have won the Champions league final starting with Moura and Son.

    Until people catch on that £400k A YEAR is still a phenomenal salary, then football will continue to eat itself up.

    I agree that high-profile, high performing athletes who have made full use of the talent they possess, are rightly rewarded for their commitment, but I am sorry, £400k a week is obscene.
