    I’ve always thought that Dane being an former professional player helped him to quickly develop an understanding with Val. Bringing in Dike also was a master stroke

    Don't get me wrong, Dane did a great job in his time here, but it's a typical case of over-egging his contribution to please their own fan base.

    Nice video interview at the bottom, which I skimmed through to see what he said about us. Could we have something similar for our new man?

    Weird one with Dane - I'm not bothered about him leaving, more bothered about the circumstances of it and the potential for him to poach our transfer targets.

    If the head coach has player x,y and z to choose from an algorithm. Maybe a new list has been compiled for the new Head Coach to fit his strengths and adaptations of the style? It might not be one size fits all.

    Different targets for Stendel, Struber, Val etc.

    There will be no fee involved, he had an admin job , handing in his notice & taking it from there would no doubt be the procedure .

    I think the club should issue a statement about Forest making a statement before we make a statement about Dane leaving , this indeed would be a statement in itself , I feel I had to make this statement on behalf of all our fans who want a statement .

    Irrespective of his contract clubs do not pay transfer or compensation fees for admin & clerical staff .

    Did you read the Forest article? Where they announce what happened to the previous CEO, and also thanking him, in the same article as announcing the appointment of Murphy, together with a video intro from Murphy?

    It all looked very professionally done and an impressive communication, all in in one post.

    But of course, we could talk a contrary view and merely be thankful for whatever is given.
