    Well worth checking the musical 'Beautiful' out next time it's touring. Saw it at Bradford a few years back. The number of hits she wrote for other people is breathtaking...

    Me and Mrs K watched that,really good concert. I think BBC had a documentary about her some years back,her life went into a downward spiral after her marriage to Gerry Goffin ended. A relationship with a abusive controlling man,fortunately with the help of friends and family she got control of her life back. Would recommend everyone to have a copy of the album 'Tapestry ' in their collection.

    Gutted that i missed this, Carol King is my favourite female artist , what a performer & what a writer , love her gigs with James Taylor & spend a lot of time on you tube watching their concerts , hopefully it will be repeated again soon .
