    Was there any sky in Rochdale?
    There was lots of green grass with a ball on it but very little sky.
    I thought I was watching a new kind of sport here, players in red using the magic of gravity to keep the ball on the grass.
    Seems like Schopp talk is good talk, like it !

    Someone said yesterday that Helik is still on holiday, which makes sense as he's been at the Euro's. Not sure about Andersen as he's been on the training pics.

    I wondered about Kane too, who must still have an injury.

    Andersen is the most serious injury in pre-season, will be out for weeks. Others slight, according to a Doug O'Kane tweet yesterday

    Thoroughly enjoyed that.

    Some real positives. Chaplin, Woodrow and Morris all look much better with ball to feet.

    From the snippets, possession wasn't pointless and for the sake of it just across the back. Numerous times the ball was played into midfield with a quick injection of speed to move forwards and not play a simple safe pass.

    Really good to see Ben Williams back after a horrible injury. And I though Simoes showed a few nice touches.

    Clean slate for everyone. Take the opportunity when it presents.

    Looking forward to the season if that's the intent we're going to show while in possession.

    Ben Williams looked good at left back/wing back. That frees up Styles to play his natural position.
