Me too. It'll be nice to have a break from it and get on with some important stuff... putting the fixtures in my diary, checking the latest on Nudger's Bridge, washing and ironing my scarf, teaching my grandson how to kick with both feet. It's amazing how these things pile up when you have football on the brain.
I didn't watch much of the Euros, just the England games, couple of group stage matches and maybe 3 or 4 Knockout stage games I'm ready for the new season!
As I turned off the TV shortly after the last penalty miss I said to Mrs F ( who hates football) - there thats the season finished no more football now until the next season starts. For some reason I got snarled at and informed its less than a month away
I think I only missed a few matches in the group stages but really can't wait to get back to watching live footy.
