Just that, after being found to have failed to adhere to standards in public life.

Good time to bury more bad news, no one wants to read about this we're in the final.

Is there any way to hold the government to account? Seems like every mechanism in place to police them can be easily circumvented.

    System is fu cked.

The very people who'd probably never see the Caribbean Island or be in a situation to afford to go. But dear Leader got it for free via a bung, and they'll all hope he had a great time and made use of all of inclusive facilities.
It's the will of the people.

Actually, only a minority of the electorate voted for this government, but the rest of us were too apathetic or disorganised to prevent it.

Even thats not true only a minority of the electorate that voted voted for this government (43.6%) but because of our flawed electoral system which neither main party wants to change they have complete and unchecked power, effectively we are an elective dictatorship where the largest minority has control

Not strictly correct, yes we need a GE to change things, but highlighting wrongs by whinging, moaning, writing songs, getting as much tv media /attention as possible ( which is difficult with govt) can help people to make an informed decision at the ballot box. Basically never give up whinging and moaning otherwise the current govt will be seen as doing things right and this rotten lousy Party with this rotten, lousy, lying,self-grabbing money and power, are everything what’s wrong
