    Really?

They have no more assets to borrow against.

    Council own their training ground.

Sold ground to the invisible man.

No players that they will get any large fee for.

Taking in to account the restated accounts for 2018, the profit/loss figures are:

    2017/18 -£35.5m
    2018/19 +£19.0m
    2019/20 -£24.0m

Assuming that in each year they have academy and women’s football costs of £1.5m, three year loss of £36m.

he 'll be the equivalent of Aiden McGeady of Sunderland! All the fans still going on about how he's the best player in the league 4 years later and costing them massive wages.

I don't think that matters. Bournemouth, Brighton and Aston Villa would all have been stung by FFP had they not been promoted to the Premier League when they were. Leaving the division essentially circumvents the issue.

Does that £100m include the ‘profit’ from the sale of their ground? Ie, would their loss be a lot bigger than that without that dodgy transaction or has that been removed now?

In that case then Chansiri has played a master stroke.

The EFL should hit any club breaching FFTP with points deductions on the next season they are in that division. So if Villa overspent to get promotion, then next time they are relegated they start on -12... irrespective of whether that is in 2 or 20 years.

That includes the ‘profit’ on the ground sale
