Theyre doing ok. I'd say last night went to plan but we started the game with only two players capable of hurting Germany (Stirling and Sako) because Southgate was afraid of what Germany could do to us. And that's a sub standard German side. If we get to the final and we're passive against Italy, Spain or Belgium we're in trouble because they really can hurt us.
That said we could just do it.

Tbf it is a little uninspiring at times, but tournaments are generally won this way. Portugal in the last Euros drew all 3 group games, and won 2 penalty shoot outs. Very rarely do you get someone who steamrollers through everyone.

You have to hand it to England, they’ve beaten a top side in Germany & with the last 16 performances they’ve put in the wins over Croatia & Czech Republic also look better.

Germany are still a top side. They might not be as good as the 2014 World Cup winners but they’re full of top quality players.

Neuer, Kimmich, Boateng, Hummels, Kroos, Goretzka & Muller are all world class, Goosens has been outstanding this tournament, Ginter’s very good & Werner & Havertz have just won a champions league.

They might have a few issues behind the scenes with the manager leaving but they’re full of quality & it’s a top win.

Spot on....we played some of the most unattractive football I've seen in years at Barnsley but we got results and everybody appeared happy . England haven't conceded a goal, look solid and are getting results but it's doom and gloom on here...for a change. Quite a lot of hypocrisy being spouted. Will we be allowed to fly the English flag above the town hall if we win...or will that be turned into some political argument or deemed offensive...for a change.

I,m sure everyone wants England to win the Euros but the fact is they play very boring football, its not England bashing its a fact, we have some fine young players in the squad but they need to be given their head and be allowed to express themselves a little, if they were allowed i would fancy them strongly but make no mistake i will still be cheering them on whatever...

Humble Pie is normally consumed after a main meal. Southgate is crap whether or not we win. The football is turgid. Nothing to do with humble pie, its about feeling as though we do genuinely have the best team

All the teams seem much of a muchness playing similar styles.

Denmark look quite handy going forwards , and could have been out of site at half time against Belgium if they took theie chances.

England system seems to be create 3 or 4 chances and dont give too many at the other end , though if Germany had some composure we coulda been in trouble a few times considering we supposedly playing two defensive midfielders they passed through quite a few times with the midfield nowhere in sight.

I'd say the World Cup in 2018 was the best chance.

I disagree as a unit we looked solid apart from a bit o pace getting behind the defence.
I beleive this young hungry team can go all the way.
    Just an opinion that's all.

England will do well if they ditch 3 Lions and all that crap. Looking back at past failures doesn't help.
