    Surprised me to see that they had kettles in the cells. As was demonstrated boiling water makes a good weapon, especially with sugar added.

    Wasn't too impressed by the first episode but stuck with it and glad I did. Harrowing viewing but at times uplifting too.
    Prison depicted as a desperate place, as it should be really. Some great acting by Sean Bean and Stephen Graham.
