Not sure what you mean, I bought mine when we were still in with a chance of the promised land at rock bottom prices , no one could predict which way things would turn out but one thing for sure compared to most clubs in the championship the season tickets are excellent value & no way can anyone suggest that they were sold under false pretences , that is a load of rubbish .
Probably the most knee jerk comment I've heard in yrs. Ffs. That's If not a sarcastic thread. Given all the speculations and responses. May be wrong. but I assume Mr C. Was involved in a little sarcasm. Over to you Mr C.
A tongue in cheek response to the original post. And a sarcastic poke at the annual club sales pitch of belief & trust. This time in a manager who’s bailing after 8 working months & a CEO after 2-3 seasons..?
Sold under false pretences? You bet me to it...lol ...was just about to say someone's fishing.....lol So easy some days....might be down to the amount of ground bait that comes out of the club ........
The CEO one is the only one I struggle to understand. Unless Forest have blown us completely out of the water. With wages. I can see em being a basketcase. Not in Wednesday's league. but close to it.
I think we all could predict what could happen… A: promotion and retention of most players, with some big names moving on when offered big money. Also a few new young starlets from Austria. Struggle in the league and probably in the bottom 3. B: not promotion, team broken up when offered decent amounts for the manager or players. New young starlets from Austria. A struggle in the league until team jells, or doesn’t. Anybody who has a massively different thought to either of these must not have been a Barnsley fan very long…. You get on the rollercoaster, and enjoy the ride….
I blame whitey ....the silence is deafening it was never this quiet before he became an employee of the club....lol... Come on whitey lad.... nar tha'r on inside......giz sum info on wots guin off.... an non of that cr ap thas not urdowt....lol
Why give up a season of football at a proper club? This is what being a Tarn fan is all about, we do well the vultures come circling. When these days occur all I have to think about is the season under the Doyle's following administration. The home defeat to Mansfield and nearly getting relegated to league 2. Then I look at S6 and feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
How 'Barnsley' would it be to lose our captain, manager, CEO and Secretary on same day?!? Then a suprise deal for another player day after. Then Hellik tears ACL playing for Poland. Darren Barnard slips on puppy ****. Richard Kell breaks his leg flying a plane. Isgrove fractures his finger pointing at the moon. Van Der Velden keeps intentionally over weight so he doesn't have to play.
