What wages were they paying including bonuses? Looking at these figures it suggests they had incentives for everything barring using the clubs lavs.

A complete and utter shambles. Yet they gave Bannan a new contract mid season on reputedly £27 000 a week!!

£27k a week for Barry Bannan. He only renewed his contract a few months ago, as well.

Nailed on for me, unless they manage to get an extremely stupid and extremely wealthy buyer.

Hillsborough could well be a retail park within the next 5 years...

As long as that? They are on course to be kicked out in September, when they default on their £7million(?) rent.

They owe it to the owner of the ground. It might not feel like it, but financially the club and the ground owner are two separate entities. The club has to pay the rent from its bank account somehow. They're basically stuffed unless they have another cunning plan.

(Happy to be corrected, if I've misunderstood the situation).

Their fans don't seem to think so - and then there is this:

"Chansiri agreed to pay £60m for Hillsborough, with the club's 2017-18 accounts showing that an initial payment of £7.5m was due within one year. The 2018-19 accounts are now two months overdue at Companies House.

The pending charge has been registered by New Avenue Projects Limited, a company which has previously acted as an intermediary, matching clubs who need finance with lenders, and taking a commission on the deal.

It means financing of the loan may involve an unknown third party, which could be an individual or a financial institution.

New Avenue Projects Limited is owned and run by Nigel Weiss, a former city finance lawyer."

    Nowhere left to run.

Only saleable asset they have on the pitch is Windass who will go for a fraction of his actual value. (See Wigan last summer)

    Off the.pitch they have nothing.

Dont own the ground and the council own the training facilities.

Be the first time in years something on that land has offered value for money. The only thing massive about Washday is their debt.

Well, the retail park would still need to be built. Mind you, they can throw them up in about 6 months these days can't they!
