I think you would be right. If so, the only advantage for the players is they can command a nice juicy signing on bonus which could negate the loss of wages. Like you say though, if they went into admin, they would get the full value of their contract, and probably be allowed to leave for free/minimum transfer fees anyway. All I can think is either they have decided enough is enough and the club is a lost cause, or it's simply a power play to put a time limit(is it 15 days?) on Chansiri to pay their wages(it states the ones considering it are contracted for next season, meaning unless they were going with a team of kids from the academy it would cost much more to make up a squad for nest season).
Really disappointing. I just don't have time to read OwlsTalk today. Why can't stuff like this happen when I'm not busy.
They are financially screwed. This September they owe their first annual repayment on their leasehold of the stadium. £6 million or thereabouts i believe.
They are upset that Blackpool got promoted as they miss out on going to the seaside. Are Morecambe and Fleetwood not the seaside? Geography not their strongest point. https://www.owlstalk.co.uk/forums/topic/301425-no-blackpool-day-out/?do=findComment&comment=9846357
Might be good to save it for the proverbial rainy day. When you are down and life is making you miserable, you can always read OwlsTalk
