I saw him a fair few times at Hamlets and its fair to say his centre half partner was by far the most dominant aerially (he went on to coach them after he retired and does a lot for the community too, really sound guy) and Pinnock wasn't really noticed that much, though he was encourged to play the ball out as Hamlets played a passing style, even being so far down the league structure . Most of the rave reviews were for Erhun Oztumer at the time who was scoring 20 goals a season, and a kid up front, the name of who escapes me, Carr maybe? He ended up going to Huddersfield but didn't make it.
That Wednesday ticket was almost bit of a no-lose situation if you a)had the money on hand and b)intended to buy a season ticket there every year anyway. They either be successful and make it onto the Premier League gravy train and stay there, so they are getting Premier League football at a relatively cheap price(for that league) for 10 years, go up and back down meaning they get a year of Premier League football and nine subsequent years of Championship football at (I think) less than their going rate, or never get there, so they have basically purchased a lifetime season ticket. It the last few options where I say "almost" a no-lose situation, though. Now they have gone down, season ticket income will drop, along with TV money and now x amounts of free season tickets thanks to Chansiri's foresight, they could very well be stuck in L1 and possibly below which could have a few knock-on effects. A) they go bust, so all the money spent on said ticket is pissed up the wall, as I can't see them being high up on any creditor list or b)the club is sold and the new owners simply refuse to honour such a stupid scheme(not sure where it would stand legally). n.b. I have ignored the massive negative of the tickets in question, the fact you actually have to watch Wednesday...
But since rheyll no new owner would honour them, and legally I don't think they would necessarily have to, as after admin they'd be a new club.
Possibly right on that one. But would they be creditors and get whatever to the pound. After a sale. If anyone is daft enough to pay silly money.
