I went to 80% of games while Davies was here he was terrible for it but your selective memory blanks that out.

There was numerous threads on here and on other clubs forums about davies timewasting in the promotion season. But your making out asif you can't remember him timewasting. Not knocking him as a goalkeeper but he timewasted alot. You don't think woodman was that bad but even the sky commontators mentioned it.

 

Davies was the least subtle time waster I've ever seen, at least Collins has a bit of craft about his timewasting.

 

All goalkeepers time waste, Davies did too, under instruction I suspect. But I've never seen any other goalkeeper like Collins.

Woodman timewasted, yes. Read above. But again, Collins is in a different solar system when it comes to how much time he wastes.

 

The really annoying bit was the ref tapping and looking at his watch as if to state he would add it on, then at the end of each half added zero time for the time wasting. This effectively allows it to happen and reduces the fans entertainment value. All in all the ref was clearly not gonna give us much in the breadth if this match at all.

 

Further up the thread you said you didn't think woodman was that bad when he did it all the second half and quite clearly was. I've never seen a keeper do it all 2nd half like that and not get even spoken to. You can only hang on to the ball for a certain amount of time and usually you get spoken to or a token yellow but nothing.

 

Brad Collins. 52 seconds. Wasn't booked.

 

I think we will have to end the discussion here. I said I wasn't bothered about his timewasting all the 2nd half along as the ref added it on, at one point he looked at woodman pointed to his watch asif he was going to add it on then didn't. You say woodman wasn't that bad when clearly it was all of the 2nd half when we came out and put them under pressure. You said you can't recall Davies timewasting but then went onto say well they all do it. Which they do, they do it as much as the ref allows them which last night he was very lenient with it.

 

My comments are that all keepers do it, probably under instruction. I don't recall Davies being any worse than any other. But Collins is worse than anyone I've seen. Bar none. If we'd gone 1 up, I can't imagine the degree Collins would have taken it.

But I appreciate you don't see that.

 

For me Davies is the biggest time waster I remember seeing for Barnsley. Collins can take longer sometimes when we're winning but Davies would time waste from the first minute to the last.

Davies was the biggest time waster in general, Colgan was the best at time wasting when we were winning. Collins is a distant third in my opinion

 

In my opinion davies was worse than collins maybe as in the promotion season there was many games we were infront and he took his time doing his tricks. Is woodman worse than collins? I don't know as I don't watch Swansea every week last night he was bad 2nd half but got away with it and the time didn't get added on so fair play he got away with it.

 

Not only me who saw that then, davies was awful for it.

 

Go find a Collins timewasting montage of this season. Then evaluate.

 

Watched him most of the season apart from when we were playing walton. Watched Davies throughout his whole time here.

The worst (or best, depending on your point of view) keeper I'd seen for time wasting was Davies. Until Collins came along, who is just in a different league to anyone I've seen before. Keepers time wasting usually frustrates opposition fans. Collins frustrates me! Just ****ing kick it man!
