The amount of time he took with each kick out of his hands and then every goal kick/free kick was insane. Then the idiot only put 3 minutes up.
I’ve got no problem whatsoever with Swansea stealing time. We’d be doing exactly the same. The ref failed to address it, in both halves. 4 minutes stoppages in total, including subs. Crackers
Is the rule that’s supposed to limit how long the keeper can hang onto the ball been abolished? Early in the second half I thought he was going to see the full 45 minutes out with the ball in his hands.
I think it may have been, I’m sure someone on here will know. Doesn’t stop me shouting “6 seconds ref!” as he finally kicks it after 15.
We started counting after a while. Well over 20 seconds on quite a few occasions and never under 15. Same with throwins Swansea came determined to play as little football as possible. Looked like they came for a 0-0 but nicked a goal I’d hate to watch games like that every week
I wasn't that bothered but 2 things collins would have got carded and about 30 minutes extra time would have been added 3 minutes was a joke.
I think you sometimes have to credit the opposition. Thought they "managed" us very well. Unlike many other teams we have played, they stood up to our physicality and had the class to slow the game down and look very dangerous. Credit to us, we did what we do best, we gave them a game though but 3 games against them and we still havent scored.
Has Collins ever been carded for his disgraceful time wasting? Collins commonly takes up to 30 seconds once he falls on the floor, takes an age to get up, or walks at snails pace to the opposite corner of his box, slowly picks it up, walks slowly forward again, faints to throw it, bounces it a few times, waits a bit longer, bounces it again, waits a bit further and then finally kicks it. I once times it from the ball reaching him to finally kicking it, can't recall the game, but it was 52 seconds. How he got away with it I've no idea.
Not sure I've seen collins as bad as woodman was last night Adam Davies was the worst barnsley keeper I've seen do it and would regularly get carded. I don't really care along as the time gets added on but it didn't. Woodman knew he could get away with it and took the piss didn't even get spoken to.
My view is Collins is the worst timewasting keeper I've ever seen. I vaguely recall him getting hammer from Barnsley fans when we lost at Burton for it too. I think most keepers do it, I don't recall Davies being especially bad at it. And I don't think Woodman was that bad. He pushed it, but I don't think we were robbed of 11 minutes of added time. Not that we'd have scored anyway.
Davies was the worst keeper in a barnsley shirt I've ever seen for time wasting bar none. 2nd half woodman was bad for it even sky commontators mentioned it but they called it game management or something. Not saying 11 minutes but it wasn't 3 5 at least.
