Any plans by the club to whip up the atmosphere pre match? Music, Announcements, Presentations etc? Going to be in the ground alot earlier than usual. Would be good to have something to get stuck into.
Cross bar challenge at half time to win a tenner off in the club shop. Toby Tyke is also going to be throwing hubba bubba around for the youngsters. I miss those days.
We have got an entrance time of 6.45 to 7 pm , with an 8.15 kick off its a fair old wait but some decent music would help , some Pink Floyd or maybe a bit of the old "Cure" wouldn"t go a miss .
I'm sure it’ll be the usual fare. Jase on the mic, a variety of music etc. The warm-up music has been chosen by a player for the last nine months though, and this week it’s Mowatt’s turn so from around 7.30 to 8pm expect lots of house music.
So I'm guessing he'll be picking Sandstorm by Darude to pay homage to the Swansea pitch earlier in the season.
Lundwood Majorettes 18:00 to 18:03 Penistone Ukele Society 18:15 til they need oxygen An on pitch Q&A with Malik Wilks from 19:00 until his tag starts buzzing and he's got to do one quickly. 19:15 ish (depends on Malik) Sheepdog trials 19:30 until kick off is the half time draw for anyone suffering from premature ejaculation 19:45 onwards is a minutes silence for S.M. that lasts until kick off for his ticket loss.
*Puts on Club voice* We understand that not everyone can arrive within their allotted time period. Time slots are necessary to comply with social distancing requirements. All we'd ask is that you apply common sense, and approach the turnstiles when there is no queue if arriving outside of your time slot. You will be admitted.
Not my idea: Have the club thought of abandoning the turnstiles for this game, opening the main gates and checking tickets as people walk through? Presumably there are about 1,500 in each stand. The small confines of the turnstiles, which it is claimed will be wiped down after each person has gone through, seems an unnecessary practice when dealing with such a small crowd and a potential hot spot for infection compared to keeping everyone out in the open air.
Thanks whitey. I get why the club haven't exactly promoted that in case everyone takes the p but it's good to know that those who genuinely can't quite make their time slot won't be turned away provided they aren't being pillocks and rushing the turnstiles
The reason it's being done as it is, is to be able to monitor the flow rate and attendance via the crowd counter (on each turnstile) which gives Beth and relevant security a real-time figure, and complies with enforced COVID regs etc.
You are right, but I havn"t ,plus being a bit wooden I have only just mastered sending Text messages so smart phones would be wasted on me !
What has it got to do with Beth? Genuine question by the way, I've long since given up trying to work out what her job is supposed to include
Fair enough FWIW I think the regulations imposed on you are nothing short of ridiculous, but you're managing it very well, as usual.
