At what point do united have to forfeit the game? Should’ve forfeited it when it was originally called off

I’d call it now. Cancel the game and award the points to Liverpool

Suspect they'll have no choice if this continues. Could be worse sanctions too possibly.

Had to do a double take when I read the banner, it looked like “over £18 stolen” :)

I meant the bellends blocking the road so the team coach can’t get through

It should be for a second offence. Failure to control supporters.

Not sure I understand some of the reactions on this thread. Violence and criminal damage are totally wrong, obviously. But as far as taking direct action goes, United supporters hate what the Glazers have done to their club and are taking a stand. This on a day when the PL clubs have signed a deal for broadcasting rights for an absurd sum of money and given the 72 a bit of pocket change.

football badly needs sorting out. Ownership by “investors” who don’t have the club’s interests at heart, states buying teams to “sportwash” their human rights records, minimal trickle down of cash. So if a big game gets disrupted to highlight this stuff, not sure I have a problem with that.

Had Man United won the league would this protest still have taken place?

Why are Liverpool having to suffer because of it though too?

Weird Utd fans only care now because they aren’t winning stuff anymore.

Also let the tyres down on the team coach.

To be honest, as protests go at least this feels within the realms of being safe providing it stays that way and doesn't include any of the vandalism we say the other week or threat to public safety. I don't think the fans will care if they're docked points and I actually think that might be the objective.
