I think I'd rather them focus on getting the ballot drawn and the comms out to us ASAP as a priority.
I wondered if they would announce that - after all they told us when 1000 had applied in the first hour or so. Maybe its better not to know until the results are announced
I’m the same. Have considered travelling a bit more, now 60% of my income no longer goes on London rent etc.. Of course, the virus scuppered that idea. Only places I’ve really been are where bands took me. I like where I live, but that & not driving adds up to quite a limited existence. Reight, I’m off to t’pub.
A good fall back in case you get sacked.! Thanks for the free tickets, by the way. I think I’ll take my Wendy mates.
YT - if the ballot route proves unsuccessful do you need an assistant camera man for the matchday thread?
If anyone returns any tickets presumably the club can’t re-sell them due to the distancing rules. Is that the case?
Me too and yes, I agree - time to give up. I'm surprised how disappointed I feel. Was quite relaxed about it when entering the ballot but feel a bit fed up now, not cross just disappointed. It would've been fantastic just to visit the old girl again.....
Anyone that has a ticket but doesn't go should be tarred and feathered and banned from Oakwell for life.
Yep i know exactly what you mean, sounds a bit pathetic but i think i'm going to find it difficult watching it on telly seeing people there and knowing i missed out......
It doesn’t sound pathetic. I thought I was relaxed about the whole ballot thing, but then my ar$e fell out when people started getting confirmations through. I’m buzzing for everyone who gets a ticket and gutted for those who don’t.
