I wonder if Wayne Rooney will still be in charge at Wayne Rooney's Derby County Football Club next season?
Actually his full title is Old Goat,: - Bishop of Rome, Vicar of Jesus Christ, Successor of the Prince of the Apostles, Supreme Pontiff of the Universal Church, Primate of Italy, Archbishop and Metropolitan of the Roman Province, Sovereign of the State of Vatican City, Servant of the Servants of God. Somehow more plausible than Wayne Rooney: - Football Manager
Seems like it - a lot of sports journalists have been referring to Wayne Rooneys Derby County as if its changed its name
The journos are just trying to make things easier for people, nobody's heard of Derby County outside South Derbyshire so by adding the name of a famous ex-footballer people might have some idea what they are on about. Fairly soon they'll be saying something along the lines of "League 1 Derby County", I suppose it just adds context.
It never used to be BCDCFC though when Cloughie was there. Different generation of reporting. I prefer some, if not most, of the old ones like Bryon Butler, Peter Jones, Alan Green etc
It’s like Jack Snyder’s Justice League. They need to differentiate the current new and improved Wayne Rooney’s Derby County from the previously run of the mill Derby County.
