"I think it’s important to have a reaction to bounce back. From the first minute, the feeling was there – the guys were ready to show a reaction – and it was important for us to stay that way." No team can win every game and there will be defeats - inevitably. As a supporter, all I ask for is to have a reaction following a defeat. A better performance, an improvement on what happened the game before. Boy, did we get that and more. Well done Valerien for getting more from the players and well done everyone else for rising to the challenge. You Reds
It’s all very well him saying that, and talking about Sollbauer, but where’s the recognition of the role played by @JLWBigLil ’s Glavin shirt, @Old Goat ’s half time snack or my lucky sweatshirt?
Actually I took a bit of a gamble and completely changed my routine yesterday. Coffee instead of tea, and a pre-match meal instead of the half-time snack. Another coffee at half-time, again instead of the usual tea. I just felt we needed a bit extra in the tank. Thankfully it all worked a treat.
I wore the shirt for the game against Oxford at Wembley. Naturally, I wore it again in the Play Off Final against Millwall. Last night, it showed it still retains it's magic!
Love the picture on the link! I presume it was the full-time whistle - look at Murray leaping off the ground - didn`t somebody insinuate when VI came in that he wasn`t fully invested in the plan?
I know... It's a bit like changing your lottery numbers cos they're not doing the business. Nervous times...
