Solly was phenomenal last night. I thought it was a little harsh on Sibbick to be dropped, but as usual, Val got it bang on. Credit to Morris too, who on any other night, would have been our man of the match. I still can't fathom how he only played once for Norwich. He looks the total package.
Gone with the masses and plumped for Solly. He was outstanding wasn’t he although most had really good games on the night.
The most difficult choice of the season for me. Very strong arguments for Morris, Solbauer, Palmer, and Brittain, with Woodrow, Mowatt and Styles not far behind. An exceptional team display. I've gone for Morris for his part in the goal and the fact that most good things when we went forward came through him, while at the same time feeling slightly sad that I can't give it to several others.
In the first five or ten minutes Sollbauer got done for pace a couple of times and I was thinking we'd miss Sibbick. But then he adjusted and accounted for it and was unbeatable from then on, save for that one mis-cue in the box. Clear MoM.
