The standard of refereeing all over the country hasn't been this bad in years. Full stretched arm saving a shot like a second keeper.
What about the Wolfman when he dived full length to tip a shot round the post for Wolves at Oakwell. Penalty was a foregone conclusion so the crowd were chanting "Off, off, off". Unbelievably the ref gave a corner so he must have seen him touch it round the post. Still the most baffling non penalty I've ever seen.
No surprise Wycombe seem to fail to get a stonewaller or have a soft one given against them most weeks. The one we got against them wouldn’t have been given against anyone else. It’s almost as is the refs have an agenda for them to go back from whence they came
I was at both those games and believe me, that Wolfman penalty was unbelievable. He dove full length and tipped it round the post like Gordon Banks. I think the ref must have thought he was the goalkeeper
I'm usually a big believer that these things balance out over a season, but Wycombe have had a lot against them this season
I remember being at that game. The most blatant handball I've ever seen. Even De Wolf was laughing about it...
Believe me. Forget the stonewall penalties of the wolfman and liddel incidents. There for both btw, The most blatant none penalty ever. was at Oldham. In the cup. Cant remember who the defender was, who it was given against? Joe joyce maybe. ( but I was closer to the Oldham attacker than he was)
The amount of decisions going in Swansea's favour is ridiculous. Wasn't Steve Cooper's dad high up in the fa officiating pyramid?
Owen Archdeacon. However that was a penalty given that wasn't a oenalty - there's hundreds of those. This debate is about blatantly penalties not given.
