Anybody know the kind of injury he's got and whether he'll be back for any of the last six games? (Sorry that should read last nine games).
It feels as if we're a bit light in midfield without him. No disrespect to Palmer, or Halme.

According to FotMob it's a Knee Injury until mid-April, but I have no idea how accurate they are!

It's a massive shame. He was really coming into his own before the injury.

I'm sure Val said he might be fit for the Middlesbrough game?

Think VI said two weeks in the press conference before the Reading game, that said, he was out for an initial two weeks, and Kitching was out for 2 weeks.

Hope he's back soon though, think he'd have a role in the run in. Though I'd expect Halme to feature against Boro regardless.

Don't care what the decision makers at the club say. Letting James go has left a hole that we haven't filled in central midfield.
With both Kane and Palmer have not taking their chance to make themselves first team regulars. Halme looks what he is, a central defender playing out of position.

Since Matty's last game on 2nd January, we've only lost 3 games. It seems we haven't missed him at all. The coach got it right. In Val we trust

Results speak for themselves. I was initially disappointed that we let him go but you can't argue with our record since then.

Thinking the same. Perhaps he's got a love bug and that's why he's not playing

I'm very disapointed with Kane. Most expensive signing for 20 odd years.

Injuries maybe? Lack of form because of them maybe? His style doesn't fit ours maybe? ..... I'd love him to grab hold and dictate a game like Hourihane did.

Let's hope we eventually see the player that others have seen. He owes us .....

Most expensive signing for 25 years - reflects just how little we spend on players, not that we overpaid for Kane. Truth is, £1.25m is pocket fluff to a lot of championship teams. Kane’s second half performance against Bournemouth was superb.

I get that. All of it. But for that fee with what we pay we'd surely expect more. It is pocket fluff..... I get that in terms of Championship signings. But you could add a Connor + Scowen + Watkins and a Winnall together ....... There's definitely a player there but we need to see it and we haven't for 'reasons'. I'd love him to come good and see him as a hero. 10-15-20 mins here and there just doesn't cut it for me. Just been brutally honest but he custard pies me straight int kite

Hourihane, Scowen and Watkins had the benefit of time in league 1 to develop when they signed here.
