Looks like we have another quality referee for this one, Keith Stroud unless before Saturday he's lucky enough to slip and dislocate his head
It’s like the EFL have looked at us: “Now, how many games have they got? Six more? Right Claude, who are the six worst referees we can find? Yes...they will do nicely. One for each game. That will stop ‘em!!!”
I thought the ref for the Luton game did okay apart from not booking Pearson for the penalty. The first decent one we’ve had for a while though.
He should’ve booked Naismith early doors for a terrible challenge. I was cursing him as I was thinking back to what Woodrow got booked for in previous game against Reading. The standard of officials is that poor now that when they get a basic decision right we applaud it and it’s as much as a talking point as a bad decision.
I thought he had a much easier game because Luton weren't throwing themselves allover and surrounding the ref every 30 seconds.
I thought the ref had a good game hardly his fault that Woodrow was booked last week. Arguably he should have booked Pearson but at least he gave us the penalty. But yes Luton helped by behaving pretty decently
I thought the refs against Luton and against Reading did well. The Woodrow booking was bizarre but on the whole I thought he did ok given the amount of play acting going on from the Reading team.
