Not sure it’s been working as well as VI would hope for recently. With a lot of changes happening at half time rather than 60 mins, suggesting he’s not been happy with how the starting forwards have played.
I think, particularly at home, the idea of staying in the game till the last half hour is becoming counter productive, as teams’ confidence builds the longer it stays 0-0 or if they score first

Stick Halme up front and hold out for the draw ;)

I’d say it’s pretty obvious who our best 3 strikers are but they can’t play 90 minutes every game.

Each of our strikers offer something different and I’m happy with whatever Ismael selects.

I just think the way we play, we need some balance in terms of front 3, the best players don't always fit into the best team. I think one of Chaplin or Freiser should be on at all times, simply for their energy. However I'd never try to convince you that either are better than Morris, Dike or Woodrow. Cos they're not.

Trouble is we missed him in the first half as well, and he was playing

I do understand that argument, but Archey's excellent stats suggest we're more likely to score if we go with what I think the majority would agree are our best 3.

That's not the full picture, you'd also need to look at minutes on the field and goals conceded, but it's a start and I don't think many will be surprised by the findings. You play your best 3 strikers and you score more goals.

Agreed mate. Valerien is playing the long game (in more ways than one). In Val we trust

All 6 of them have played a part in getting us where we are but my starting preference would be Dike in the middle and Morris, Freiser either side of him. Leaving the option to play Woodrow through the middle later in the game.
I've got every faith in all of em though especially big Val.

I agree, i think Morris has played most of his minutes against tiring defenders and Woodrow has started nearly every match.

I like the rotation and we all know the best 3 but if one or more of those get crocked at this late stage we have 3 match ready players with minutes under their belts that know what is required to replace them.

So I would just leave it to that fella that has got us in this position , a position most thought was beyond us when he came in.

Woodrow Morris and dike 100% for me

But with the amount of running we do I don't think it's an effective lineup for 90 minutes so the question is do you start your best three then switch to what I think is a much weaker second 3? Or start weaker let them tire the defence then put all 3 stars on? Or do you mix it up and play 2 good one not so good or 1 good 2 not so good?

I'm not sure what the best way to do it is but I think VI gets it right more often than not with mixing it up

Another one you'll agree with. Brek Shea wasn't very good for us. Controversial I know

I found myself nodding in agreement reading this.

We want our SuperTyke returning unharmed when you've finished with him.

I don’t have the answer to many problems that I know do exist. I also know that if VI had picked the team that I’d have selected all season we’d be considerably lower down the league.

I just have a suspicion that every time he brings Morris on at half time, rather than on 55-60 mins, he’ll be closer to just putting him on from the start next game.
