    And boy do they deserve a rest. 12 games in 38 days, in a packed fixture schedule. Imaging what we might have been able to achieve having only a few midweek games, with a full weeks rest in between games....

    No complaints from me. A game too far for the lads today given back to back away games with plenty of travel. Rest up and 8 huge games left. 4 more wins and 76 points should hopefully give us a play off spot.

    Might turn out to be the best result of this run. We were going to lose at some point - better now, before the break, with a chance to rest, reassess and recharge than in the final run-in. Let’s forget any daft talk of automatic - it was NEVER an option. Seal that playoff place, then manage the squad ahead of our inevitable Wembley victory.

    I'm not too down hearted to be honest, we were bound to lose one before the end of the season and at least it wasn't against a team near us in the league. Barely in the same league really.:):):)
