    As the goals continue to pour in, there might not be a return to Orlando. The loan was said to include a steep $20 million purchase clause and 20% sell-on fee, but those numbers have been disputed. “It’s not realistic that Barnsley would pay that,” said Barnsley chief executive Dane Murphy. “The buy option is quite similar to prices we have paid for players before. It was key to the deal that we got a buy option in.”

    Orlando should do their research before spouting bs like that. No one offers 10mil for anyone at Barnsley. Everyone knows a couple of mil is all that's needed to prise away whoever is our most prized asset at the time.........

    I suspect the deal is we can have him for as Dane said, on the condition that the buy out clause in the contract with us is 20 million. And they retain 20 of future sell on.

    I know but u just know the Prem big boys will tar Orlando wi our brush. Lil ole Barnsley aint gonna be borrowing 10mil, let alone 20mil players :D

    You might be right. It makes more sense than most theories.

    edit: guess we will soon see cos you’d think there’s no way we would not want to buy him if what Dane says is true.

    That would probably be my thoughts. He might be that good at some point in the future but too much of a risk.
