    I thought exactly the same, l said he wasn't Premiership quality but a very good Championship striker. We tend to over egg some players, I put him in the same bracket as Hourihane.

    They paid over the odds for players brewster a crazy signing all in Liverpool favour with the buy back, mcburnie I like the bloke but not a premier league striker. Look at the other players he still has mcgoldrick, lundstrum, sharp, Stevens. He hasn't got a premiership squad to pick from. You could argue there his signings, I don't know if they are or not from above, but the fees they have paid for them are over the top. He is a good manager what he has done for them and before that Northampton is remarkable he won't be out of work long.

    I said on the day Wilder was appointed what a terrible decision it was, because he'd do great things for the Blunts. I'm so glad he's leaving and I (and I'm sure many others) can resume our out and out loathing of them.
