    One of the comments on facebook following Rooneys post match, i know we see it all the time, but the level of delusion is incredible, they,re bloody lucky to still be in the division after their dodgy dealing...

    He really does lose all respect when he talks down to opposing teams like this. He's changed his tactics to counteract our high press and yet still can't bring himself to say something positive about us. Goodbye Wayne

    Subconsciously, I think of Derby as a big club. This is probably because they were in the top flight and on MOTD a lot in my formative years.
    From that perspective, yes, they should be destroying teams like Barnsley.

    However, as any manager called Keith Hill will tell you, footballing history counts for nothing. Derby are on a downward trajectory. I'd be very surprised if Rooney does anything to stop the rot.

    On form, we should absolutely be beating teams like Derby. I think most of our fans are feeling a little disappointed this morning.
