I loved the Burton to Wirksworth section of my walk, lovely round there and lots of it off the beaten track.

    Keep saying the word "PLUNGE"
The more you say it the better (or worse!) it sounds.

I wanted to sit near to where me and my dad used to stand (in the corner where the big Hayselden logo is) but didn't fancy not being under the roof when it rains... We'll have to say hello at the next game. :):)

They could put seats in and box that off with a makeshift roof if they wanted to.

Was that the walk from Oakwell to Burton Albion a couple of years back? If so I saw you at the Pirelli.

Marston-on-Dove, Sutton on the hill, Thurvaston, Brailsford, Cross-o-the-Hands, Idridgehay and then stayed over in Wirksworth. Next day Matlock, Chatsworth and finished Abbeydale Road area of Sheff. Next day walked across Sheff, Grenoside, Tankersley etc and then finished at Oakwell. Was very lucky with the weather given it was February time and short days etc.

She obviously doesn't think you're old enough for God's waiting room, the East Stand, just yet :)

I started there too - 1972, with me dad & grandad, about 2/3rds of the way up. Scarf covered in them massive pin-on badges you could buy from the hatch. Graduated to the Ponty when me dad thought I was old enough for it...

I'll obviously be getting a pass up in that far top corner with all the knock-off Stone Island 15yr olds :D
