We've got a pair of owls which visit our garden. It's an eerie sound at night when they're hooting and screeching, but I love it.

Very difficult to get a picture in the dark, this is the best I could do:-

Tawny. There's something incredibly funny about listening to owls wailing and howling deep into the night.

An owl has two stomachs. The first one, called the glandular stomach, produces acids, chemicals and mucus that help separate the digestible and indigestible parts of its prey. ... At that point, the owl will regurgitate (vomit) the pellet and will be ready to eat again.

no wonder they make all that noise

my sister had 2 owls in her pool room, they got through a gap in roof, think they must have been having a game and one of them did a foul shot, think the rules of pool are confusing to owls, because my sister said she heard them say two hits to who :):)
