No one really stood out today. Hardly a classic, but defended well as a team. Gotta give to Dike, what a strike.
A great young footballer. Will go down in BFC folklore, if not legendary. As ever, old pal, we might achieve, what we might achieve. I wouldn't usually advise BFC players to look at our fan board.? But I hope Daryl does. & feels the love & respect, that we we can't give from te terraces. That goes for all of them, but particularly DK & the other lads being so far from home.
Dike for sure. The goal was fantastic, but apart from that he was all over their defence for the whole game. We quite often don't keep any of the strikers on for the full 90, but I can see why VI kept him around today. He was on them from the first minute to the very end, and if anything he got better once Carlton Morris came on.
Along with everyone I’ve voted for Dike but I thought Morris made a huge impact when he came on. I wouldn’t have voted for him today but I thought we could vote for players who played at least 45 mins. Seems a bit strange we can vote for Styles and Frieser but not Morris or Williams despite them both having better games than the players they replaced. Edit - just seen that they have been added now
Why is there no option for Morris? Head and shoulders above the rest. Gave it to Dike for constant effort and a wonder strike.
Tough one. I honestly didn't think it was the best performance, but we did a professional job, and kept them quiet. Dike just edges Collins for me. Honourable mention for Jordan Williams too who I thought was fantastic in the 2nd half.
Dike provided the one moment of true class so I’ve gone that way - though he was kept largely anonymous first half by what I thought was a well prepared Birmingham side. Morris coming on changed the tide so I might have gone to him, and Helik I thought was tremendous at the back again. But that strike was special, so Dike.
